Have a Kickin' Birthday at the Family Martial Arts Academy! 

Myers Martial Arts host your child's next birthday with our one-of-a-kind Kickin Birthday Parties! No experience necessary! All children will participate in an introductory martial arts class packed with fun and excitement! Each party is taught by our professional instructors and supervised by our friendly staff. Partygoers will also be taught the time and place for their newly acquired skills.

Below is information regarding MMA birthday parties if you are interested in us hosting one for your child. Please call if you have any other questions.

* We'll provide a group Martial Arts Lesson for all who attend the party. This is a fun filled Martial Arts lesson with the Birthday Party Child being the Star of the Show.

* We will send out the specialized martial arts invitations for you if you like. Just supply us with a list of the names and addresses of each participant in time to get them out.

* All guests will receive a Free Trial Program just for attending the Party (provided they are not already students of the Martial Arts Studio).

* Fun games and events will be done at the party such as dodge ball, gladiators, freeze tag, relay races and shuttle runs or whatever the Birthday boy/girl wants to do (within reason). We have many games that we play, and we give the Birthday person and guests the choice. We structure the games based on the age of the attendees. Whether the student is 5 or 15 we have the right games for them. The duration of the party is one hour and a half.

* Note: If the attendees are young, such as 5 or so, we advise you that you need to find out ahead of time what types of games they like and can play. Sometimes we run into 5 year olds that don't know how to play many games at all. This makes it hard to have a variety, but they ALWAYS HAVE FUN. It just would be better to know the games they already know.

Structure of the Party

* Beginning of the Party: The party begins with a 10 minute ?sizzle time? where we get the kids involved in some high energy games.

* It usually takes the guests approximately 10 to 15 minutes to show up and get ready to start.

* We usually teach a Martial Arts Lesson for 10 to 15 minutes with the birthday child as the star.

* We then play games for awhile (birthday child gets to pick their favorite).

* The children usually then eat the Birthday Cake.
 
* Then we play a bit more to burn off some of that sugar.

* Then the children gather around the Birthday child while he/she opens their presents.
 

* After the presents it is usually time to go home, but if time is left, we play more games.

* The parties are an 1 1/2 hours long and are normally conducted on Saturdays.

* Basic Party Party Package ($199) - includes a uniform for the guest of honor

* Nunchaku Party Package ($249) - Includes foam training Nunchakus for all guests

* Head Band Party Package #4 ($199) - includes headbands for all guests

* Mixed Martial Arts Party Package #6 ($199) - designed for ages 12 and up and based on UFC

What You Must Bring to The Party:

We supply the facility, instructor, entertainment and utensils, two Papa Johns Pizzas, and Drinks for up to 15 guests, and you supply the food (cake, ice cream etc...). 

The price below is for a party of up to 15 children (including the birthday child). There is $10 charge for each additional child.
